Reoperations are still major surgical problem
due to the present adhesions, lack of bypassing material, space
for placing the new proximal or distal anastomoses. The problem
is also a severity of coronary disease particularly if its is
affecting distal portions of coronary vessels. We analysed five
reoperations where we used different methods and grafts. We think
that the recurring angina pain after the CABG surgery is indication
for repeated evaluation of patients and reoperation has to be
performed in all indicated cases with higher operative risk but
still acceptable considering the benefit the operation will have
for the patient.
