Dear friends and colleagues,

I am greatly honoured to invite You to take part in 1st Child Surgery Congress of Bosnia and Herzegovina with International Participation. Congress will take place in Sarajevo, from 18th to 21st of May, 2000. Program of the Congress will cover topics from child surgery by itself, including all other surgery subspecialties related to child, as well as interdisciplinary in paediatrics, infection diseases, radiology, oncology, psychiatry and other disciplines of medicine dealing with child.
During the Congress we would like to present our experiences and results in child surgery, from peacetime and war, with special working and living conditions. We would like to hear and see others experi- ences in this filed and determine further direction of development of child surgery in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to be able to follow contem- porary trends in surgical treatment and diagnostics in childhood.
We are inviting You and expecting participation of colleagues from all over the world that will contribute to the success of I Congress of Child Surgery of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and development of it, by pre- senting scientific papers, and expert opinions in child surgery.
